ECO Bus Couplers

Users of Weidmüller’s popular and versatile u-remote distributed I/O system can make significant cost savings by adopting the company’s ECO range of bus couplers.

Available in PROFINET, EtherCAT and Modbus TCP versions, the exceptionally cost-effective ECO couplers are an ideal choice for use in machine building and other straightforward applications where the advanced functionality and features provided by the standard bus couplers in the u-remote range are not required.

With the exception of the time-stamp module, ECO bus couplers are fully compatible with all modules in the extensive u-remote range, including the FSoE (Functional Safety over Ethernet) modules. They can support up to 16 u-remote modules and are capable of handling currents up to 10 A, which means that they meet the requirements for the vast majority of smaller remote I/O stations.

Weidmüller’s ECO bus couplers have an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C and, like all modules in the u-remote range, they are easily mounted by simply clipping them on to standard top-hat DIN rail. They carry both UL and CE approvals and are therefore suitable for use in almost all major world markets.
